What happens during a Reiki session?

A Reiki session is a gentle, relaxing experience where you remain fully clothed while Reiki energy is shared either through light touch or hands placed just above the body (depending on your preference). The session is designed to support deep relaxation, stress relief, and overall energetic balance.

How long is a Reiki session, and what does it include?

Session length can vary by appointment type, but most sessions include a brief check-in, the Reiki treatment itself, and a short integration period afterward to help you transition back into your day.

Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?

You don’t need any specific beliefs or prior experience to receive Reiki. Many people simply come in with an open mind and notice benefits through the calming, restorative nature of the session.

How should I prepare for my session?

Wear comfortable clothing, arrive a few minutes early if possible, and consider avoiding heavy meals right before your appointment. If you have an intention or an area you’d like support with (stress, sleep, emotional release, grounding), you’re welcome to share it during the check-in.

Is Reiki a replacement for medical or mental health care?

Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have health concerns, continue working with a qualified healthcare professional; Reiki can be used alongside other forms of care as part of a holistic approach.
